During the 2014 school year, an assignment for students was to complete some multi-genre writing assignments from a topic of personal interest. Basically, I wanted students to write something in each of the three KCAS modes of writing, then embellish their writing by using interactive elements, graphics, YouTube, etc. In the 2014-15 school year, I would like to expand this project idea, still using individual student Weebly sites, but including blogs as one of the required pages. I have linked samples from various levels below, as I intend to discuss various aspects (plagiarism, choosing graphics wisely, layout, etc.) with next year's group. I am also going to include the easy-peasy, end-of-year-so-very-brief scoring guide and have them analyze for possible scores. Here are our first year efforts (from all levels of expertise):
